  After looking for a family doctor in Vernon for over a year I was thrilled to find that Dr. Jackson was accepting new patients. I read the online reviews regarding his actions but didn't care.... I needed a family doctor. This was a massive mistake. Now I know why he's the only doctor accepting new patients , you are better off with a walk in clinic. If this doctor is able to practice in Canada then there is something seriously broken with our health care system. The reviews below are an accurate depiction of his practice.

  This "doctor" and i use that term loosely, is a joke. He sent a 6 year old girl home when she was in pain saying nothing is wrong with her. Within an hour she was in the hospital in antibiotics suffering from an abnornal lump in her throat. She is currently in another town at their hospital because they are better suited for her needs. There is also the talk to surgery. She is SIX years old and he brushed her aside like she was nothing. I am sick to my stomach. He should be ashamed of himself.
